The three mills awarded this year in the “Best Oil of Lower Aragon” awards are registered in organic production.
Almazara Artal, from Albalate del Arzobispo, and its master miller Arantxa Garín, obtained in Alcañiz the Best Oil of Southern Aragon Award (diploma and 1,000 euros) in its 2023 edition, which the Regulatory Council of the Designation of Origin (CRDO) presented last night in Alcañiz. The second Quality Award (diploma and 700 euros) went to the Apadrina un Olivo mill (Oliete) and its master miller Carlos Blanco, while the Third Prize (diploma and 400 euros) went to the Mezquín Cooperative, with Pedro Sancho as master miller.
