Family-owned oil mill in the heart of the Bajo Aragón region.
After decades taking care of our olive trees in Bajo Aragón, in November 2019 we opened our own oil mill to produce, with total control, our Extra Virgin Olive Oils (EVOO): El Aceite de Marta y Safeito.
From the harvest and reception of the olives to the daily milling, decanting, filtering and bottling, we guarantee traceability, freshness and quality in each batch.
We work with varieties such as Empeltre (under the D.O. Aceite del Bajo Aragón), Arbequina, Arbosana, Fulla de Salze and Coriana to offer EVOOs with their own character and authentic flavor of each variety, directly from our family to your table.
In Almazara Artal we prioritize a production with the highest quality standards, to obtain an EVOO with a unique and unmistakable flavor.
We maintain the tradition of our family in every detail: from the care of the olive tree to the bottling, so that our know-how is reflected in every drop.
As nature lovers, we work with two essential objectives in mind:
Circular economy and self-sufficiency. We have implemented a model that reduces waste, reuses by-products and optimizes energy. Today our mill is self-sufficient, and we could not be prouder.
Transition to organic. Organic cultivation predominates in our farms and we continue to expand it to guarantee a pure and healthy EVOO.

From the heart of Aragon, straight to your table
At Almazara Artal, each bottle of extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) is born in our fields in Bajo Aragón and Ribera Baja del Ebro where hundreds of thousands of olive trees grow.
We practice drip irrigation, with water from the Ebro River, providing only the necessary water when needed. This way we obtain healthy and balanced olives, with an optimal ripening and greataromatic richness.
The unique terrain and our native varieties make the profile of our oils unmistakable .
Empeltre, the emblem of Lower Aragon and under the Designation of Origin: Aceite del Bajo Aragón, provides notes of dried fruits and a smooth, aromatic and elegant mouthfeel. It is complemented by other varieties such as Arbequina and Arbosana, Fulla de Salze and Coriana.
All Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Designation of Origin Bajo Aragón must contain at least 80% Empeltre variety, which ensures a pleasant profile, with hints of almonds and ripe fruit.
To provide more aromas and textures, we also grow Arbequina, Arbosana, Fulla de Salze and Corina, which allow us to produce balanced and high quality oils.
These varieties become the best ally for your recipes, both raw and in gentle cooking.
